The Minister for Education, the Hon Julia Gillard MP, announced the successful schools of Round Two of the National Secondary School Computer Fund (the Fund) on 28 January 2009.

1,394 secondary schools from Government, Independent and Catholic sectors in all states and territories were successful in Round Two and will receive funding for 141,319 new computers. This will see these schools move to a computer to student ratio of 1:2.
